1. How many vacancies are available at Keming Primary School?
The number of Primary One vacancies each school will offer for the Primary One Registration Exercise will be made available in June before the registration begins. Parents can refer to Primary Schools Vacancies by Phases for information on vacancies for each school. We will be offering seven Primary 1 classes yearly.

Student Care Centre
1. Who is the operator for the Student Care Centre?
Knowledge Park Educare (SC) Pte Ltd has been the appointed student care operator for the school with effect from January 2016.
Knowledge Park Educare has more than 28 years of experience in providing educational services to students. They complement the school’s efforts in providing quality and holistic care for the students.
2. What is the total number of available places for Student Care Centre?
The Student Care Centre has a capacity of 99 students.
There are approximately 17 vacancies for each level of students.
3. What activities do the Student Care Centre offer?
The Student Care Centre provides a safe and conducive learning environment for every child to develop good character and acquire life skills for the future. Activities at the Student Care Centre include the following:-
- Meals (lunch and tea)
- Academic Guidance / Homework Supervision
- Shower time
- Character Development Programme
- Enrichment Programme
- Outdoor Activities
4. How can I enrol my child in the Student Care Centre?
Parents may register online at www.knowledgepark.com.sg/kemingscc
As the number of vacancies in the Student Care Centre is limited, priority of admission will be given to Singaporean students who qualify for the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), i.e. Gross household income of S$2,750 or below or per capita income of $690 or below.
The remaining vacancies will be opened to all students from Keming Primary School. As the number of vacancies is limited, parents are encouraged to consider other options at the same time while waiting for the results to be announced.
5. What is the fee for the Student Care?
The student fee for 2023 is $290 per month.
Other fees include
- Deposit: $290
- Material Fee: $50 per year
- Uniform: $40 for 3 sets
- Holidays Surcharge: $5 per day
6. What are the modes of payment?
Monthly fee payment can be made in cash or through cheques / GIRO.
We strongly encourage parents to make fee payment via GIRO as this would help reduce the amount of time the SCC staff members spend on fee administration, and free up more time to spend with the students.
School Library
Borrowing and returning of Keming library books
Q1: What is the loan period?
2 weeks.
Q2: What if I need more time to read the book?
You may bring the library book to the school library to extend your loan by another 2 weeks.
Q3: What is the maximum number of books thAt I can borrow?
4 books.
Q4: Can I borrow my friend’s library card so that I can borrow more than 4 books?
No, we do not encourage hogging. We would like you to show care to others by giving them the chance to borrow their favourite books as well. No student should lend his/her library card to another person.
Q5: What happens when I do not return the book(s) after the due date?
You will receive a note of reminder to return the book or bring the book to the library to extend the loan period. You should do so within 3 days upon receipt of the reminder.
Q6: What happens when I lose/misplace the book?
You will need to alert the librarian as soon as possible and replace the lost/misplaced book with either
- a new book of the same title (enclose the receipt of purchase); or
- a second-hand book of the same title (Please ensure the book is in good condition)
Q7: Can I use cash to pay for the lost book?
We are unable to accept cash.
